Getting to know 4D creative.

4D creative is the culmination of our 25 years combined experience in both education and theatre. Our industry knowledge fused with a passion for creating immersive experiences using space, light and sound has lead us here. We are an energetic, creative company with a unique approach to education.

Ben Willetts and Cathy Cross designed their first 4D Immersive Space at Springwood Heath School, Liverpool in 2008. The space was named Tom's Space after Cathy's son and began the 4D creative journey.

Ben & Cathy met through the creative workshops they ran in schools. Ben was a lighting designer watching teacher's struggle with confusing technology whilst Cathy was a creativity consultant and 'professional den maker'! Through their experiences, they started to develop an idea of a flexible, teacher friendly, immersive learning environment. A space that can be anything imaginable at the touch of a screen.

Fast forward a couple of years and 4D creative is now an award winning company with a team of hard working and loveable individuals based at 4D HQ in Manchester. Everyday is packed with meeting new clients, running our many live projects & thinking of new and brilliant design ideas.

As a team, our aim is to keep innovating our immersive spaces and inspiring young people. We are passionate and determined to grow the 4D immersive concept from schools all over the UK to other sectors such as health care and private businesses.
